There are specific training requirements, educational standards, and an application process in order to be recognized and licensed as a minister with the ISDBA. We currently offer ordination and licensure at the following three levels:

1. Pastor   

2. Elder     

3. Deacon

​

Licensed ministers are held to the highest spiritual trust and accountability before God. While all ISDBA churches may call, hire, and elect their own pastors, elders, and deacons to serve their congregations, only those who are accepted by the ISDBA application process will receive official credentials and ministerial licensure by the Independent Seventh Day Bible Baptist Association.
